The IGFSA held elections for the IGFSA Executive Committee. Two Executive Committee members reached the end of their first three year mandate (AMADO ESPINOSA and FLÁVIO R. WAGNER) and they are eligible for re-election.

Ballots for the 2025 Executive Committee Elections were sent to members in good standing on November 26, 2025 and the voting period ended December 03, 2025 (00:00 UTC).
The IGFSA is pleased to announce that our Elections Officer has completed the vote audit and here are the results of the 2025 Elections:
Congratulations to AMADO ESPINOSA and FLÁVIO R. WAGNER win with 40.00% and 48.89% of the votes each which meets the requirement of the most votes. We look forward to working with you to further the IGFSA mission. The IGFSA thanks all candidates for their interest and support in running for the elections.
Notes:
42 ballots were sent (corresponding to 38 individual and 4 corporate standing members).
Voters’ ballots included up to 3 votes each – for the 2 seats available.
45 votes were tallied and there was 1 abstention.
26 ballots from out of 42 eligible voters were returned for 62% participation.
