IGFSA activity and financial reports
Annual Report 2024-2025
This report covers the Association’s activities between its eleventh General Assembly, held in person with remote participation during IGF on 15 December 2024 and its twelfth General Assembly, to be held virtually on 08 December 2025. The nature of the National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) and the preparatory work for the IGF2024 have
proceeded in hybrid and fully in-person settings. IGFSA continued to support the NRIs holding hybrid meetings. Notably in 2024, IGFSA has increased funding support for youth initiatives at all levels.
Annual Report 2023-2024
This report covers the Association’s activities between its tenth General Assembly, held in person with remote participation during IGF 2023 on 8 October and its eleventh General Assembly, to be held in person with remote participation during IGF 2024 on 15 December. The nature of the National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) and the preparatory work for the IGF2024 have proceeded mostly in hybrid and fully in-person settings. IGFSA continued to support the NRIs holding hybrid meetings. Notably in 2024, IGFSA has increased funding support of youth initiatives
at all levels.
Annual Report 2023
The section covers the IGFSA activities between the ninth IGFSA General Assembly convened during IGF 2022, on 28 November 2022 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and online, and the tenth IGFSA General Assembly to be held during IGF 2023, on 8 October, in Kyoto, Japan and online.
Annual Report 2021-2022
This report covers the Association’s activities between its eighth General Assembly, held in person with remote participation during IGF 2021 on 10 December 2021 and its ninth General Assembly, to be held in person with remote participation during IGF 2022 on 28 November 2022. With the continuation of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the nature of the National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) and the preparatory work for the IGF2022 have proceeded in a virtual or hybrid setting. IGFSA adapted to the new situation and continued to support the NRIs holding online and hybrid meetings.

This report covers the Association’s activities between its seventh General Assembly, held in a virtual setting during IGF 2020 on 2 November 2020 and its eighth General Assembly, to be held in a virtual setting, on 10 December 2021. With the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the nature of the National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) and the preparatory work for the IGF2021 changed, as most activities moved into a virtual or hybrid setting. IGFSA adapted to the new situation and continued to support the NRIs holding online and hybrid meetings.

This report covers the Association’s activities between its sixth General Assembly, held in Berlin, Germany on 28 November 2019 and its seventh General Assembly, to be held in a virtual setting, on 2 November 2020. With the inset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the nature of the National and Regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) and the preparatory work for the IGF2020 changed, as most activities moved into a virtual setting. IGFSA adapted to the new situation and continued to support the NRIs holding online meetings.

Summary Record of the 2024 General Assembly
The IGFSA held its tenth General Assembly during the 19th IGF in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 15 December 2024. In total, over 42 IGFSA Members and observers attended the meeting in room and via remote participation.
Summary Record of the 2023 IGFSA General Assembly
The IGFSA held its tenth General Assembly during the 18th IGF (Kyoto, Japan and Virtual) on 8
October 2023. over 45 IGFSA Members and observers, as well as remote hubs attended the
meeting in room and via remote participation. Amrita Choudhury, as the Chair of the Executive
Committee, presided over the General Assembly.
Summary Report: IGFSA General Assembly 2022
The IGFSA held its ninth General Assembly during the 17th IGF (Addis Ababa and Virtual) on 28
November 2022. 51 IGFSA Members and observers, as well as 1 remote hub attended the
meeting in room and via remote participation. Seven of nine Executive Committee Members
were also in attendance, Anriette Esterhuysen sent apologies, Eduardo Santoyo was not in
attendance. Markus Kummer, as the Chair of the Executive Committee, presided over the
General Assembly.

The IGFSA held its eighth General Assembly during the 17th IGF (Katowice, Poland and Virtual) on 10 December 2021. 45 IGFSA Members and observers, as well as 2 remote hubs attended the meeting in room and via remote participation. Executive Committee Members were also in attendance. Markus Kummer, as the Chair of the Executive Committee, presided over the General Assembly.

The IGFSA held its seventh General Assembly during the pre-event phase of the 16th IGF (virtual) on 2 November 2020. 62 IGFSA Members and observers attended the meeting via remote participation. Summary Record of the 2018 IGFSA General Assembly
2018 General Assembly Paris, 12 November 2018: More than 60 IGFSA Members attended the meeting in person and via remote participation. Seven Executive Committee Members were also in attendance. Markus Kummer, as the Chair of the Executive Committee, presided over the General Assembly.

Summary Record of the 2016 IGFSA General Assembly
2016 General Assembly Guadalajara, 5 December 2016: 26 IGFSA Members attended the meeting in person and five via remote participation. All but two Executive Committee Members were also in attendance. Ms. Subi Chaturvedi and Ms. Cheryl Miller were unable to attend the meeting and sent their apologies. The Chair of the Executive Committee, Mr. Raúl Echeberría, presided over the General Assembly.
