The IGFSA held elections for the IGFSA Executive Committee. Three Executive Committee members reached the end of their first three year mandate (Fiona Asonga, Amrita Choudhury, Anriette Esterhuysen) and they were eligible for re-election.

Ballots for the 2024 Executive Committee Elections were sent to members in good standing on December 9, 2024 and the voting period ended December 16, 2024 (00:00 UTC).
The IGFSA is pleased to announce that our Elections Officer has completed the vote audit and here are the results of the 2024 Elections:
Congratulations to Amrita Choudhury, Anriette Esterhuysen, and Fiona Asonga win with 35.29% and 29.41% of the votes each which meets the requirement of the most votes. We look forward to working with you to further the IGFSA mission. The IGFSA thanks all candidates for their interest and support in running for the elections.

34 ballots were sent (corresponding to 33 individual and 1 corporate standing members).
Voters’ ballots included up to 3 votes each – for the 3 seats available.
68 votes were tallied and there were 0 abstentions.
25 ballots from out of 34 eligible voters were returned for 74% participation.
